It has been a little over a year since Live! Casino Pittsburgh began operating in the Keystone State. After establishing itself in the state, the operator is now looking to do even better through some upgrades. The expansion plans for the Westmoreland property will encompass a variety of new offerings to the facility thus pushing it to even greater heights.
Among the additions that will be coming to the facility is a 1,500-square-foot poker room. This was in development for quite some time with a launch date set for December 20. In addition to the new poker room, the venue also brings 20 new electronic gaming tables. These will officially go live on December 23. Both additions received the approval of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board last Wednesday. It does not stop there though.
The expanded gaming and entertainment facility will also now have an extra 7,000-square-foot event center and 18 new slots machines in its high-light room. To top it all off, patrons will also have access to a FanDuel FanCave.
For people who are looking for some amazing cuisines, Live! Casino Pittsburgh’s two on-site restaurants, the Sports and Social Steel City and Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen and Bar will have new items on the menu. All that contributes to making the venue a whole-rounded destination for revelers in Pennsylvania.
A Response to Customer Feedback
As it turns out, the expansions and additions coming to Live! Casino Pittsburgh are a result of the operator’s commitment to its customers. According to Sean Sullivan, the Live! Casino Pittsburgh general manager, they listened to customer feedback before making some of these decisions. The changes they are making are thus a result of taking the feedback into account then using that to craft new gaming and entertainment opportunities for their customers.
“The point is we listen to people. The point is we constantly want to improve things. If you don’t, you become stale. You become criticized…We continue to listen to the needs of our guests while building on our reputation as a world-class gaming and entertainment destination.”
Sean Sullivan, general manager of Live! Casino Pittsburgh.
The arrival of the satellite casino was a gamechanger for Westmore and the expansion should contribute to this further. Since its launch, Live! Pittsburgh has reported gross gaming revenue (GGR) of nearly $88 million from slots, tables, and sports betting. That is very impressive, to say the least. In addition to that, the casino has employed up to 521 workers and sent out up to a whopping $21 million in wages and benefits.
